When a member of the Force gets Ported out, the team needs people ready to hop in and share the load. That's where the Reserve Unit comes in! The Reserve Unit is a small team under Darin's command, who receive training, participate in monthly patrols and missions, and are generally kept up to snuff in case an agent gets temporarily Ported out.

The Reserve Unit is capped at five characters. As with the main unit, sign-ups are only open to Registered imPorts, due to Aegis Force's government funding. Sign-ups are on a first come, first serve basis.

All applicants will have to pass a training exam, as well as an ethics test, a psychological evaluation, a background check, and the contacting of at least two character references (who can be imPort or native). They can also volunteer to undertake a lie detector test or psychic scan to verify their trustworthiness, or verify their details by sharing their government-provided personal file, but this is not mandatory.

ImPorts with criminal pasts can join the team, but only if their evaluators are satisfied they have fully mended their ways and don't pose a risk. Characters can volunteer to administer these evaluations and tests to new recruits. Evaluations and tests can be played out or handwaved according to player preference.

Ready to join the Aegis Force Reserve Unit? Fill out the form below and friend/follow aegisforce! If your character ever changes their role on the team or leaves altogether, just edit your original comment or reply to it to say that they're leaving, and the roster will be updated accordingly.

The main Aegis Force consists of up to fifteen imPorts, but who keeps their base in Maurtia Falls running while they're off fighting crime on the Moon? These six native characters serve as staff at HQ, and are available to add flavour and context to Aegis team threads. The recruitment of these characters also reflects Aegis' mission to build cooperation between imPort and native for the shared goal of protecting the innocent. To that end, Aegis has recruited the best volunteers that can be found among the Porter cities from humanitarian, law enforcement, or metahuman backgrounds to be part of the unit.

Want your character to join Aegis Force, or just want to check who is currently on the team? You've come to the right place! Information on this page can be treated as common IC knowledge: Aegis strives for transparency by keeping its roster public, although agents can maintain codenames and secret identities if they wish. Be advised that at this time, sign-ups for Aegis are ICly and OOCly capped at a maximum of fifteen characters. There are currently eight characters on the team. Additionally, a maximum of four characters from the same canon can be on the team at any given time.

Sign-ups for Aegis are open to any Registered Hero imPort - due to its government funding, Aegis is a Registered-only team!
