I know that might seems strange, but you've got to remember most people don't know a lot about Spectres. It's a damn secretive group. It'll make more sense if you watch the director's commentary on the Special Edition. The director's a fan of classic turian noir like 'the Mandible of Justice,' and he wanted a chief-rogue relationship as an homage to those old vids.

Besides, it's not about accuracy so much as it's all about that skycar chase sequence. You know the one I'm talking about.

Does the director's commentary also explain why Bubin and Honey were completely one note? I've seen better elcor acting than that.

I sat through Elcor Hamlet and a lot of other vids when I was in hospital at the start of the Reaper War.

What happened?

A Cerberus bot (that EDI later took over as her mobile unit) bashed me against a skycar at the Mars Archives. Almost killed me. I ended up in hospital with a broken shoulder, concussion, the works.

Damn. I think I heard something about that from EDI when she was here, but I didn't know it was you that had gotten put through the grinder like that. Glad you made it out, Ashley.

And Elcor Hamlet.

So. What did you think?

I wouldn't say I enjoyed Elcor Hamlet, but I did like some of the line interpretations. Not just way more varied and detailed than "badassfully" and "coquettishly" every line, but different from other productions I've seen too.

With an all-elcor cast, I'd be surprised if it wasn't different.

I never knew you had so much depth in theatre, Ash.

Probably less than you're thinking. Shakespeare's just a sideways step from classic poetry, and some of it I ended up repeating in school when we transferred colonies.
