I was hoping we'd have more time to train and get to know each other before we plunged into the deep end, but it looks like it's out of our hands now. De Chima is in a serious emergency, and we need to act fast before more people get hurt.

I want anyone with any kind of science or magic knowledge studying the Shimmer. We need to know what the hell we're dealing with here, and how to stop it. Everyone else, you're on rescue, recon, and support duty. Find out what you can, help the native emergency people do their jobs, and get as many civilians away from the affected area as possible. I'll be right there with you, co-ordinating from the front.

Force is authorized for defense, but this isn't a full attack. We won't go in hard until we have a plan. Watch each other's backs out there, and be careful. This looks like a bad one. Any questions?

All right. I know we're all worn out from the Shimmer. I know it was Hell. But Maurtia Falls is in an emergency right now, and I'm getting reports of other hell breaking loose all over. We've gotta move on this. I want all hands on deck protecting civilians, unless you're following a hot lead on Atropos or the OTO.

The Falls has got flooding, looting, a city-wide blackout, and people killing each other in the street right now. That needs to be a main focus. That's where I'm going to be, and I could use some backup. Everyone else... sound off on what you're going to be doing, and let's co-ordinate on how we're handling this.

Text - Shortly before the launch of the Mars mission - team-only

This is it, everyone. Project Alke launches on the tenth. Once we're away, me, Ash, and 622 are going to be gone for a while. Hopefully we'll be back safe and sound on the 26th, with one less threat to Earth in the mix. But there's no guarantees with this mission.

No matter what happens, I want the rest of Aegis Force to keep carrying the torch. Hermann, I want you to keep things running while we're gone. Adachi, help out if you've got the time. Maintain regular patrols, and follow up any leads on the OTO and Atropos you can find. We may be about to knock out their station in space, but they've still got a presence on Earth that needs to be dealt with.

Besides that, Mayor Baelish is setting up a new emergency shelter in Maurtia Falls that could use more help. I told him we'd lend a hand as much as we're able.

That's about it. If anyone has questions, ask them now before I'm halfway across the Solar System. Otherwise, keep up the good work Aegis Force. Party's on me once I'm back planet side.

For all you newer agents looking for context- the Constellation was or is an imPort criminal group with ideas about seizing the Porter and rebelling against the government. Apparently Hux was involved with them, and still has his hands on their money.

Hey, team. Just a note to keep your heads up and eyes open for any new information on these anomalies from our own worlds. They could be linked to a wider threat to this universe, and intel on the Network indicates there's a link to the OTO.

That's not our only priority right now though. Some of you might have already heard something about this, but Aegis is taking charge of this month's Swear-In. Sorry if I seemed a little absent last month. I was in a lot of talks with the government and our admin staff about how to make it all happen. The main event's going to be a sporting event on the Moon for imPort teams to compete in, but we're planning to work in a diplomatic angle to.

If any of you are available to lend a hand, I'd appreciate the help. Everyone else, you'll get the full story in the news soon enough. Be ready to represent the best of our team, both in front of the cameras and on the game fields.

By the way, how did everybody like Blasto? I was thrilled when I saw it was in-universe now. It's a real classic. I hope you all liked it as much as I do.

I'm just catching up on what I missed right now. It looks like you all did a great job keeping things going while I was out of commission. I'm proud of you guys.

[ It's absolutely surreal, knowing someone's dead and now here they are again. Finn hadn't seen the body, though, so it's kind of like Jacob was just ported out like anyone else. Kind of.

He wants to physically go over and check in but feels that's out of place for the moment. Finn has no pertinent information and feels they aren't close enough for a sudden heart to heart. They aren't, right? Regardless, he doesn't want to be a bother.

Glad you're back, Commander. No reason to apologize.

Other than Jadus trying to rally a mob on the network, everything went smoothly. [ Finn's definition of smooth and the actual definition of smooth are two totally different things, by the way. ]

[You know, just the kind of thing you want to blurt out seeing one of your best friends back from the dead. Really gets across everything she's feeling, potential to start a fight.]

So it's a few hours before he visits Jacob, who will probably hear him coming; Al hasn't been doing well physically or mentally, and is walking slowly with the aid of a cane, but he's still got his usual pleasant smile.]

First, I want to apologize. I know I was stubborn about admitting I needed to take time off, and that maybe I pushed away people who were just trying to help. I should have listened sooner.
