I saw Jadus' post. We're going to have to figure out how to respond to this kind of thing. But that can wait until I'm caught up on the rest of the fallout.

Maybe Jadus knows there's not much we can do about it. Even if we take him in he'll just get probation. And 'I helped save the world' can make a hell of a defense.

Just wish there was more we could do in the face of something like that.

Here's a lesson we don't put on the Aegis recruitment pitch: a lot of this job involves accepting how helpless you really are.

We just do what we can. Sometimes it's not much.

Just be ready for the days when better isn't good enough. I guarantee you, they'll be coming.
